One way…

One Way…

There are moments in life when everything feels like a crossroads.

So many signs.
So many voices.
So many directions pulling at our hearts.
And yet, every once in a while, we come across a truth that doesn’t shout—but glows.

A simple sign.
A quiet road.
A cross illuminated against the fading light of day.

One way.

Not the easiest way.
Not the most popular way.
But the way that leads to life.

The world tells us there are endless paths to fulfillment—success, comfort, recognition, self-reliance. But when the noise fades and the sun begins to set, the heart still longs for something more solid… something eternal.

Jesus once said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Not a way.

The way.

The cross doesn’t force itself on us.
It stands patiently—offering direction, hope, and grace.

Like a porch light glowing at the end of a long day, it says: You’re not lost. You’re not alone.

Come home.

Sometimes choosing the “one way” means trusting God when the road feels unfamiliar. It means surrendering control.

It means believing that love, sacrifice, and faith still matter in a world that often rushes past them.

And when we choose that way—when we follow the light—we find that even in the darkest seasons, God is already there… waiting.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

In a world full of confusion and competing paths,
help us see Your light clearly.

When we feel unsure, overwhelmed, or lost,
remind us that You are the way forward.

Give us courage to follow You—even when it’s hard,
even when it costs us comfort,
even when others choose differently.

Thank You for the cross—
for Your love poured out freely,
for grace that meets us right where we are.

Guide our steps today.
Light our path.
And lead us home.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
