Faith Makes You Strong

There’s something powerful about the image of a lion standing firm—mane flowing, eyes steady, unshaken by the storm around him.
A lion doesn’t rush in panic. He doesn’t second-guess his authority. He stands, because he knows who he is.
That’s the picture of faith.
Faith doesn’t mean the absence of fear. It means choosing to stand anyway.
The words in the image say it plainly: “Faith makes you strong. Be bold. Be courageous.
Trust in God.”
Those aren’t empty motivational phrases—they’re a call straight from Scripture.
In Joshua 1:9, God doesn’t tell Joshua that the road will be easy. He tells him to be strong and courageous because the Lord will be with him wherever he goes.
Strength isn’t rooted in circumstances; it’s rooted in God’s presence.
Strength That Comes From Trust
Christian strength looks different than the world’s version of strength.
It’s not loud arrogance.
It’s not self-reliance.
It’s not pretending everything is fine.
Biblical strength is quiet confidence—confidence that God is with you even when the ground feels unsteady.
When you trust God:
You can stand when others run.
You can remain calm when fear is shouting.
You can move forward even when the future is unclear.
That lion doesn’t need to roar to prove his power. And you don’t need to have all the answers to walk in faith.
Be Bold. Be Courageous.
Boldness isn’t about being fearless—it’s about being faithful.
Courage is choosing obedience when it would be easier to give up. It’s praying when you’re tired. It’s trusting God when you don’t yet see the outcome. It’s believing His promises even when the storm hasn’t passed.
God never asked His people to be brave on their own strength. He asked them to be brave because He goes with them.
The same God who stood with Joshua stands with you today:
In uncertainty
In waiting
In healing
In calling
In every step forward
Faith Makes You Strong—Because God Is With You
That cross in the background of the image is a reminder: your courage is anchored in Christ.
Jesus already went before you. He already conquered fear, sin, and death. You are never walking alone.
So today, stand like the lion. Not because life is easy— but because God is faithful.
Be bold.
Be courageous.
Trust in God.
For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
If this helped you, pray this prayer below…
Lord,
When fear tries to shake us, remind us who walks beside us.
Give us boldness rooted in faith, courage anchored in Your promises,
and peace that comes from trusting You completely.
Help us stand firm, not in our own strength, but in Yours.
Thank You for being with us wherever we go.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
